YPSILANTI, MI: EMU's men, running on their home course, captured second place on Saturday November 11th for an automatic bid to the NCAA D1 National Cross Country Meet in Ames, Iowa on November 20th. EMU was lead by Blake McDowell who took 2nd place overall.

UofM's Mark Pilja finished 4th overall for an automatic individual spot at the national meet. Wisconsin's men captured the team title with 75 points

In other regional action, out West former Class A State Champion Jason Hartmann took 2nd at the Division 1 West Regional. The number 1 ranked Calvin Men's team won their Division 3 Great Lakes Regionals for an automatic bid to D3 Nationals.

In D-2 action Hillsdale qualified their Men's team for D2 Nationals in California. Scott Nagelkerke also qualifies for D2 Nationals as Western States wins their D2 Regional.
