ROCHESTER, Mich. - Brittni Hutton clocked a time of 14:33.7 to capture the women's 4K race, while George O'Connor won the men's 6K with a time of 19:15.3 to lead the Oakland men's and women's cross country teams at the Golden Grizzlies Invitational on Friday.

Jami Rodes tallied a runner-up finish for the women with a time of 14:47.8, while Nathan Ziolko finished right behind O'Connor for the men with a time of 19:22.1.

The men also had top-15 finishes from Michael Cox (4th, 19:35.2), Philip Palomino (7th, 20:07.0) and Pat Cassady (11th, 20:25.5). For the women, OU earned top-15 finishes from Miranda Haas (9th, 15:27.1), Hannah Scherer (9th, 15:35.6) and Autumn Cleverley (15th, 16:00.9).

OU will compete in the IPFW Invitational next Saturday, Sept. 8th in Fort Wayne, Ind.
