Blaisdell 4:59.47


Ann Arbor - Linsey Blaisdell helped the North Kent (Rockford, MI) track club dominated both the girls and boys distance events with her 1600 meter victory in 4:59.47. Lisney's teammate's placed 2nd, 3rd and 4th in the mile Bohnsack (NK) 5:04.15 STATE 9th GRADE RECORD; Kelsey Toedebusch (NK) 5:10.57; and Ogden (NK) 5:15.32. In the 3200 meter Kalin Toedebusch (NK) ran 10:53.05 winning by over 25 seconds. In the boys events North Kent again took victory's in both the 1600 and 3200 meters with Brian Smith (NK) 4:21.45 and Kyle Fujimoto (NK) 9:29.76.


Detroit - Bob Busqaert easily out distanced second place Ken Baginski to win the St. Patrick Day Corktown run. Busqaert covered the 4 mile course in a time of 20:17. On the women's side the race was a little closer with the top 4 women finishing within a minute of each other. Dearborn's Cheryl Klotkowski won in a time of 24:57, followed by Kirstie Kniaziew (25:12), Nancy Cassel (25:35), and Anne Demke (25:57).

Fayetteville, AR - University of Michigan Junior Katie Jazwinksi placed 7th in the 5,000 meter championship race in a time of 16:24.54 at the NCAA Division I Indoor Track and Field Championships.
