CROSS COUNTRY INVITATIONAL RESULTS
VOL. XXIX No. 4 for
invitationals ending 9/18/04
THE RATINGS::: This is the second set of
rankings for the 2004 season. The
girls rankings have stared with this ranking. We did not get a new set of rankings for the Superior 10, so
last weekÕs is repeated.
Coaches- the rankings are
based on invitationals. Each week
we send a letter to all of the week's invitationals requesting results. Points in the boyÕs are awarded
according to a teams finish in the invitational: 10 points for first, 9 for
second and so on. Some
invitational are weighted because of the large field and there is a minimum
number of teams required.
This issue of CCIR was mailed at
6:30 AM Wednesday. We are still
hoping to get CCIR in the mail Tuesday afternoon. All of the ranking are based on a
teamÕs performance in invitationals.
We need to make sure we receive all of the invitational results.
The numbers in parentheses indicates
the first place coach's votes/first place in invitationals. The final number is the total number of
points for the school, including coaches votes and invitational points. The invitational points are cumulative
over the entire season, to a maximum of seven. The coaches vote each week.
