  The Capital Area Humane Society will hold our annual Run and Walk for the Animals at Fitzgerald Park on 9-27-08. The event will feature a 5k Fun Run- the only race that you can run with your dog! We will also host a 5k walk and plenty of dog-friendly activities. All funds collected through the event will support the 6,000 animals that are surrendered to the shelter annually. The Capital Area Humane Society receives no government support and is funded through generous contributors, like you. Your generosity allows us to not only continue the work we do on behalf of the animals, but to broaden the scope of our work to better serve the community.
