  A small town race in the winter put on by runners for runners featuring homemade vegetarian chili. Awards given in the 5K Run to the Overall, 2nd & 3rd Place Finishers, Masters, Grand Masters, Great Masters and top 4 runners in each age group. The walk is non-competitive. The Portland Winter Run has been Voted the Favorite Small Race in the Mid-Michigan area.
