  An out and back 5K Walk/Run and 10K Run as well as Kids� Fun Run on 12 April 2008. The event will take place at Catholic Central High School. The race will raise money to fund research leading to a cure for Adenoid Cystic Carcinoma (ACC). ACC is a rare, slow growing cancer that afflicts nearly 600 people in the US each year. There is no known cure and very little research studies are currently being conducted. What few studies that are currently underway receive NO government funding. All research is privately funded. ALL of the proceeds from the Live Like Andi Race will be donated to the Live Like Andi Foundation, a not-for-profit 501(c) organization.
